Description

The head made from coconut has a human face which is carved into the shell of the coconut, the hair is made of the coconut fibre and the hat of the outer skin.

The object was acquired for the museum's collection in January 1923. Precise information on the origin are not known. Presumably it is an item that was made for trading.
