Description

Diese Zange mit löffelförmigen, leicht gezahnten Griffenden beschreibt Wilhelm Fabry in seinem Aufsatz "Lithotomia Vesicae", der auch in den "Opera omnia" enthalten ist. Die Zange kam beim Steinschnitt zur Anwendung und diente zum Herausziehen des Blasensteins. Fabry erwähnt Peter Franck als Erfinder des Instruments. Die Zange wurde für das ehemalige Hildener Heimatmuseums als Replik angefertigt, zusammen mit anderen chirurgischen Instrumente aus Wilhelm Fabrys Zeit. Konstruktionszeichnungen sind ebenfalls erhalten.
