Description

"Ums Hoor" heißt im Hochdeutsch "ums Haar" und bedeutet haarscharf (Die Kugel ist ganz knapp, haarscharf am Kegel vorbei gestreift.)
Der Kegelclub "Ums Hoor" Guntersblum wurde am 21. Juni 1956 gegründet und aus Altersgründen am 18. Dezember 2015 aufgelöst.

Die Sparbüchse im Kegelform des Kegelclubs war für das "Sandgeld". Zehn Pfennig (später Cent) waren für die Spardose fällig, wenn die Kugel vor der Bahn aufsetzt oder die Bande rempelt. Wirft ein Kegler "alle Neune" oder den "roten Kranz" bezahlen die anderen Kegler "Sandgeld". Zum Weihnachtsessen wurde die Kasse geplündert.

Der Clubmitglied Schlossermeister Wilfried Mathes formte aus Stahlrohren diese Sparbüchse für den Verein.
