Die US-Amerikaner hatten und haben "Recreational Areas" in Deutschland. Orte, die nur der Erholung und dem Freizeitvergnügen dienen. Dazu gehören auch Orte in Bayern, z.B. die Berchtesgarden Ski School. Eine runde, etwa 5-DM-Stück große Anstecknadel, mit bayrischem Wappen und einer roten römischen II darin, das zwei Skier knapp überlappt. Auf dem einen Ski steht "SKI-SCHOOL".
