Das Ringbuch enthält eine Gebrauchsanweisung über die Anwendung mit einem SCRIB-Mikrocomputer mit Bildschirm.
Auf der Titelseite des Ringbuches ist ein Nashorn abgebildet, das einen SCRIB-Mikrocomputer auf seinem Kopf trägt und von einer Person an der Leine geführt wird. Der Scrib war ein früher tragbarer Computer der Schweizer Firma Bobst Graphics mit Unterstützung von Jean-Daniel Nicoud. Der Scrib wurde als tragbares Zeichenwerkzeug für Journalisten entwickelt: Er war mit einem akustischen Koppler verbunden, sodass Reporter ihre Artikel über Standardtelefonanschlüsse senden konnten. Das Ringbuch enthält 85 Seiten.
