Bereits in Metz begann August Bratfisch mit der Arbeit an einem Kleintier-Bilderbuch.
Hier ein Entwurf für die Illustration "Missglückter Mückenfang" für das Kleintier-Bilderbuch mit einem Frosch beim Versuch, eine Mücke zu fangen, und drei zuschauenden Fröschen.
