Bereits in Metz begann August Bratfisch mit der Arbeit an einem Kleintier-Bilderbuch.
Hier die fünfundzwanzigste und letzte Illustration des Kleintier-Bilderbuches mit den aufeinander stehenden, im Buch vorkommenden Tieren: Frosch, Kröte, Maus, Schwanzlurch, Weinbergschnecke, Nacktschnecke, Grashüpfer, Mücke, Fliege und Schmetterling sowie zwei Schildern mit der Aufschrift "Wir nehmen Abschied".
