Description

Teschner, Richard (Karlsbad 1879–1948 Wien).
Eine Schlange windet sich um einen stilisierten Baum/Palme mit sechs Ästen und sieben Früchten. Das Motiv ist in ein Oval eingeschrieben. Das darunter befindliche Motto ist der zweite Teil des Horaz-Zitates "Omne tulit punctum, qui miscuit utile dulci" (Aller Beifall ist dem gewiß, der Heilsames mischte mit Süßem). Es könnte sich dabei um einen Entwurf für ein Exlibris handeln.

Bleistift und Feder mit schwarzer Tusche, auf Transparentpapier.
