Description

Die Blindenschreibmaschine wurde bei Karl Neubert in Leipzig hergestellt.
Sie ist eine Leihgabe des Oberlinhauses.
Schon Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts wurden dort taubblinde Menschen betreut, 1906 entstand im Rahmen des Oberlinhauses ein Taubstummblindenheim. Ebenso eröffnete man Werkstätten zur behindertengerechten beruflichen Ausbildung.
