Címkéje alapján a Szikla - Szilágyi féle Tanszerkészítő Intézetben készült, üveglapos fa aljú dobozban elhelyezett fűzfa-övesbagoly (Catocala electa) preparátum, melyet kiszárított ékes vasvirágra helyeztek. A vele együtt bekerült tárgyak alapján a a budapesti III. kerületi M. Kir. Állami Főgimnázium tulajdona volt eredetileg. Üvege több helyen elrepedt.
