Description

Lithographie in Weiß und Brauntönen zu den Keimsprossen des Adlerfarns (Pteris aquilinis). Gedruckt als großformatige Wandtafel wurde das Blatt als Lehrmittel an Kunstgewerbeschulen gebraucht.

Meurer gab das Blatt wieder in seiner Publikation "Vergleichende Formenlehre des Ornamentes und der Pflanze" von 1909 unter der Abt. XI., Taf. 1. Hier galt ihm die Tafel als Überblick zu relevanten Ornamentformen in der Angewandten Kunst.

Restauriert 2021 mit Steuermitteln auf der Grundlage des vom Sächsischen Landtages beschlossenen Haushaltes.
