Description

Blick in die Krypta der Stiftskirche nach Osten. Interessant ist der starke Hell-Dunkel-Kontrast, mit dem Dorothea Milde die reellen Lichtverhältnisse zugunsten einer spirituellen Wirkung übersteigert. Im Tagebuch von 1919 datiert: "5.6. u. 24.6. fertig"
In der Quedlinburg-Mappe als Federzeichnung enthalten, nicht der Holzschnitt.

Handschriftlich bezeichnet: "Die Krypta der Schloßkirche zu Quedlinburg. Dorothea Milde."
Das Monogramm Dorothea Mildes rechts unten.
