Description

Ein einzeln stehender, blühender Baum, am Horizont die Silhouette einer kleinen Stadt. Die unbändige Freude, die sich mit dem Frühling als neuem Erwachen der Natur verbindet, zeigt sich neben den üppig gesetzen Blüten darin, dass der Baum über den Rahmen des Bildes hinauswächst, im wahrsten Sinn "den Rahmen sprengt".

Handschriftlich bezeichnet: "Im Frühling 1916" - "Dorothea Milde".
Kein Monogramm.
