Description

Der Ort Barmbostel befindet sich knapp 70 km südlich von Lüneburg. Dorothea Milde hat ihn nachweislich in den Jahren 1916 und 1920 bereist, dem Jahr ihrer Beurlaubung (vgl. die datierte Zeichnungen NLMx Hz 222 und NLMx Hz 223). Sie zeichnet hier, wahrscheinlich auf einer ihrer Wanderungen, einen Weg, der leicht bergab in einen Wald hineinführt. Lichtstrahlen aus den Wolken breiten sich fächerförmig aus.

Handschriftlich bezeichnet: "Bei Barmbostel" - "Dorothea Milde".
