Description

Das Jahr 1920 ist in Dorothea Mildes Leben geprägt von außerordentlicher künstlerischer Produktivität. Sie verbringt dieses Jahr, für das sie Beurlaubung von ihrem Schuldienst beantragt hatte, vorwiegend in Norddeutschland. Hier zeichnet sie eine flache Landschaft bei Tarmstedt (Landkreis Rotenburg/Wümme), die geprägt ist von einer außerordentlich langen, allee-artigen Baumreihe.

Handschriftlich bezeichnet: "Bei Tarmstedt." - "Dorothea Milde." (auf der Zeichnung); "Bei Tarmstedt." - "Dorothea Milde, 1920" (auf dem Trägerblatt).
