Description

Nesse ist ein Ortsteil von Dornum in Landkreis Aurich in Ostfriesland. Vom Hafen Neßmersiel aus besteht Schiffsverkehr zur Insel Baltrum. Sowohl Dornum als auch Baltrum hat Dorothea Milde im Jahr 1920 bereist und Landschaftszeichnungen angefertigt. Wahrscheinlich war sie in diesem Reisezusammenhang auch in Nesse. Heute gibt es keine Straße "Altendeich" in Nesse, vielleicht handelt es sich aber um einen zu ihren Lebzeiten gängigen Straßen- bzw. geographischen Namen.

Handschriftlich bezeichnet: "Nessmer Altendeich" - "Dorothea Milde 1920".
