Description

Breddorf liegt in Niedersachsen, im Landkreis Rotenburg (Wümme), nicht weit von Worpswede. Dorothea Milde gibt hier einen Eindruck aus einem einfachen Bauernhaus wieder, in dem Truhen und Stühle stehen, und an der Wand Gerätschaften und Kleidungsstücke hängen. Zwischen den Balken wurde anscheinend eine Schnur gespannt, an der Socken zum Trocknen aufgehängt sind.

Handschriftlich bezeichnet: "Im Fleet bei Breddorf." - "Dorothea Milde".
Ein unvollständiges Monogramm Dorothea Mildes rechts unten.
