Bederkesa ist eine Ortschaft im Landkreis Cuxhaven. Die auf einer kleinen Anhöhe gelegene Holländer-Windmühle von 1881 porträtiert Dorothea Milde hier im Jahr 1920, ihrem Urlaubsjahr, das sie vorwiegend in Norddeutschland verbrachte.
