Bachrand mit einer Weide, die sich im Wasser spiegelt, in einer ansonsten unspezifischen flachen Landschaft. Die expressivität des einzeln stehenden Baumes, dessen Silhouette sich gegen den Himmel abzeichnet, ist ein Leitmotiv im Schaffen Mildes.

Handschriftlich bezeichnet: "April 1917. - Dorothea Milde."
