Description

Beliebte Motive bei Dorothea Milde sind die Landschaften der ostfriesischen Inseln, die sie mehrfach besucht (vgl. Reisetagebücher!). Diese Zeichnung entsteht auf Langeoog. Sie gibt den Blick frei auf die sonnenbeschienene See, auf der links ein Segelboot und rechts zwei weitere Schiffe zu sehen sind, das vordere mit eingeholten Segeln.

Handschriftlich bezeichnet: "Bei Langeoog. Dorothea Milde."
Das Monogramm Dorothea Mildes rechts unten.
