Description

Halbrunder Firstziegel in zwei Teilen, aus gelblichem Ton, bekrönt mit 5 Zacken. Auf einer Seite über 4 Zacken verteilt "1818" und der Schriftzug "Zigler", mit einem Stern davor. Auf der anderen Seite ein Stern, ein Handfeger und der Schriftzug "Johann Friedr. Nippchen".

Altbestand des 1903 gegründeten Altertumsvereins Grünstadt. Von einem Dach in Grünstadt oder Umgebung. Herstellung ebenfalls hier. Der Name Nippchen deutet auf Neuleiningen, wo es eine althergebrachte Keramikproduktion gab.
