Description

Einseitig bedruckte Karte, etwas kleiner als Postkartenformat. Vorderseite mit Verbandszeichen und Text, an der Rückseite eine Metallklammer zur Befestigung an der Kleidung. Der Text lautet: PRESS PASS ZWEIBRÜCKEN AIR BASE OPEN HOUSE 20 AUG 1983 10 AM TO 6 PM, name: Albert Lohr (handschriftlicher Zusatz), Nr.11.
Auf jeder Air Base wurden Flugtage abgehalten, so auch in Zweibrücken. Die Air Base wurde zuerst von der Kanadischen Luftwaffe benutzt. 1969 wurde sie an die US Air Force übergeben. 1992/3 wurde die Liegenschaft an die Deutschen zurückgegeben
