Description

Martin Luther als "Junker Jörg". Nachdem Luther gebannt und geächtet worden war, brachten ihn seine Anhänger in Sicherheit auf die Wartburg. Dort wurde er, zur Tarnung, um seine Sicherheit zu gewährleisten, Junker Jörg genannt. Als Junker Jörg kehrte er von der Wartburg, seinem Patmos, 1522 nach Wittenberg zurück.
