Dr. Hanns Bruno Geinitz fasst in seinem Buch die mitteleuropäische Geologie und Paläontologie des Zeitalters „DYAS“ zusammen. Der Begriff „DYAS“ hat sich in der internationalen Nomenklatur nicht durchgesetzt. Heute verstehen wir darunter einen Abschnitt des Zeitalters Perm (299 – 252 Mio Jahre).
