Dohnaer Granodiorit
Fundort: Dohna, Sürßen
In die neoproterozoische Weesensteiner Grauwacke eingedrungener (intrudierter) hellgrauer bis rötlicher, mittel- bis grobkristalliner, meist massiger cadomischer (zur Cadomischen Gebirgsbildung gehörender) Granodiorit. Das Alter wird heute mit 537 Ma (Unterkambrium) angegeben. Nach Norden und SW geht er in „Granitgneise“ über (Granitgneis von Klotsche). Aufschlüsse sind im Spargrund bei Dohna und am Köttewitzer Wehr im Müglitztal leicht zugänglich.
