Description

Querrechteckiges Gemälde, Öl auf Leinwand. In einer Flusslandschaft spaziert ein Mann mit schwarzem Hut, hellblauem Mantelrock und weißen Kniestrümpfen durch eine Flusslandschaft. Er hat eine Angelrute geschultert und trägt auf dem Rücken ein gerolltes Bündel. Der Fluss wird von einer steinernen Brücke überspannt. Links erhebt sich ein dichter Wald. Im rechten Bildhintergrund fällt der Blick auf eine Stadtansicht mit Kirchturm. Auf der Rückseite ist das Bild signiert mit "v. Mallman´ fecit 21ten July 1774".
Das Bild wurde nachträglich auf einen neuen Keilrahmen aufgezogen.
