Description

Aus dem Rechenbrett entwickelten die Römer einen Handabakus.
Gerführte Nieten ersetzen die losen Steine, das Gerät wird dadurch leicht und transportabel.

Die unteren Nieten zählen die Zehnerstufen einfach: 1 (I) - 10 (X) - 100 (C) - 1000 (M) usw.,
die oberen zählen jeweils fünffach: 5 (V) - 50 (L) - 500 (D) usw.
