Dieser Band enthält Ouvertüre und Menuet sowie die folgende Arien in Instrumentalbearbeitungen: Samson, Ouvertüre und Menuet (HWV 57); Samson, Ye men of Gaza (HWV 57,3); Samson, Loud as the thunders awfull voice (HWV 57,4); Samson, Then free from sorrow (HWV 57,5); Samson, Total eclipse (HWV 57,8); Samson, O mirror of our fickle state (HWV 57,7); Samson, God of our fathers (HWV 57,12b); Samson, Why does the God of Israel sleep? (HWV 57,17); Samson, Then long eternity (HWV 57,20); Samson, Joys that are pure (HWV 57,20); Samson, Return, o God of hosts (HWV 57,23).
Auf der Titelseite des Bandes oben rechts befindet sich ein Vorbesitzereintrag: "Crompton" (18/19. Jh.). Hinzu kommen am unteren Rand durchgehend der handschriftliche Eintrag "3" (alt), außerdem auf Seite 12 zahlreiche alte Bleistifteintragungen.
