Description

"Wir essen Eintopfgericht - keiner darf hungern". Plakat des im September 1933 gegründeten Winterhilfswerks (WHW). Der Aufruf zum Eintopfessen und zur Spende des eingesparten Geldes gehörte bald zum Alltag im NS-Regime. Jeweils am ersten Sonntag der Monate Oktober bis März wurde der "Eintopfsonntag" propagiert. Die im Haushalt durch das billige Eintopfessen eingesparten sollten an das WHW gespendet werden. Die entsprechenden Geldbeträge wurden von Mitgliedern der verschiedenen Parteiorganisationen an der Haustüre abgeholt.
