Description

Selbstporträt im Frack im Alter von 17 Jahren. Johann Nepomuk Lang (1820-1894), der jüngere Bruder von Alois Lang, erhielt ebenfalls durch seinen Vater eine Grundausbildung zum Maler. Das Selbstporträt zeigt ihn ein Jahr bevor er sich 1838 an der Münchner Kunstakademie im Fach Malerei einschrieb.
