Description

A divat diktálta a vasalás szokását. A XVII. századig hidegen vasaltak, utána jelentek meg a melegített fémvasalók. Ezek vagy tömörek voltak és tűzhelyen melegítették, vagy üregesek és akkor izzó szenet raktak a belsejükbe. A különböző típusú ruhaneműkhöz különböző kialakítású vasalókat alkalmaztak. A XIX. század végétől már elektromos vasalót is lehetett használni.
