Kupferstich, Tafel 2 aus einer Serie von 4 Tafeln mit Darstellungen zur Herstellung von Fächern. Teil der französischen Enzyklopädie "Encyclopédie ou Dictionnaire raisonné des sciences, des arts et des métiers".

Zweizonige Darstellung auf hochrechteckigem Blatt: Oben Einblick in eine Werkstatt mit einer Arbeiterin, die an einem Tisch sitzend mit einem Pinsel ein Fächerblatt gestaltet; unten Abbildungen der verwendeten Materialien und Werkzeuge sowie ein Maßstab.

Unten betitelt (in Platte): "Éventailliste, Peinture des Feuilles."
Unten rechts: "Benard direxit" (Leiter der Produktion).
