Der Firstziegel trägt einen sog. Neidkopf, der schlechte Einflüsse, Neid und Missgunst vom Haus fernhalten soll.
Aufschrift eingeritzt: "Bismarck 1867".
Im Juni 1867 ernannte König Wilhelm von Preußen Otto von Bismarck zum Kanzler des Norddeutschen Bundes; auf dieses Ereignis könnte sich der Sgrafitto beziehen.
