Das dargestellte Obkjekt ist ein politisches Plakat der Kommunistischen Partei Deutschlands zum 1. Mai 1931. Die Abbildung zeigt einen übergroßen Arbeiter der mit seiner rechten Hand den Schornstein einer Industrieanlage zu hält. Auf einem Turm ist eine rote Fahne gehisst. Der Plakattext lautet: "1. Mai. 1931 / Massenstreik / Kämpft mit! KPD RGO".
