Gustav Adolf Spengler, Tischlermeister und Heimatforscher aus Sangerhausen, Legte eine Sammlung von Vogeleiern an. Zumeist sind diese einheimischen Vogelarten zuzuordnen. Die Sammlung befindet sich in zwei von Spengler gebauten Schaukästen.
