Sötétkék alapon egy nagyméretű fehér borítékból előbújó globusz. A boríték fölött, mellett és alatt világos, ill. sötétebb kék betűkkel:
"A posta legyőzi a távolságot / Egyetemes Postaegyesület / Postai Világnap 1987. október 9."
Jobb alsó sarokban az UPU logója.
A német nyelvű változat címe "Posta - A távolság nem akadály"
1 db magyar, 1 db német nyelvű változat.
