Description

Im Kunstgussmuseum befindet sich ein kolossaler, 47 cm großer Portraitkopf, der bisher unter der Bezeichnung "sog. Kleopatra" unter den Modellen nach antiken Vorbildern stand. Das Vorbild für dieses Werk war ein gleichnamiger Portraitkopf, der sich im 17. Jahrhundert in der Sammlung des brandenburgischen Kurfürsten Friedrich III., des späteren Königs Friedrich I. von Preußen befand.
