Das Schlagbolzengerät eines Schlachters gehört zu einer Sammlung von Geräten und Werkzeugen des Fleischerhandwerks, das in Dohna eine große Bedeutung und lange Tradition hatte. Bereits 1462 besaßen die Dohnaer das kurfürstliche Privileg, nach Dresden schlachten zu dürfen.
