Description

Die Butterwiege stammt aus einem nahe Dohna gelegenen Großsedlitzer Bauerngut. In ihr konnten kräftesparend größere Mengen von der Milch abgeschöpfter Sahne zu Butter verarbeitet werden. Durch die Wiegebewegung entsteht ein rhythmisches Hin- und Herschlagen, dessen Wirkung durch zusätzlich eingebaute Gitter verstärkt wird. Einige Teile sind zum leichteren Reinigen herausnehmbar.
