Description

Reich mit Ornamenten, Wappen und Gesichtern beschnitzter Holzsessel, Sitz und Lehne mit rotem Samt gepolstert. Historismus, Kopie eines Sessels des flämischen Barock, um 1700. Gefertigt 1906/1907 als Meisterstück des Grünstadter Holzbildhauers Heinrich Joa (1887-1959). Oben an der Lehne Kartusche mit dem geschnitzten Monogramm "H J". Unteres, hinteres Paneel, innen, eingeschnitzte Signatur: "Copiert 1906, H. Joa, vertig Sept. 1907".

Erworben für den Altertumsverein von Frau Scherr aus Grünstadt, um 2000.
