Description

Auf diesem Blatt wird eine Ansicht von der Gegend ringsum den Porta S. Gallo gezeigt. Das Tor ging wohl aus der Stadtmauer von Florenz hervor, man sieht hier den rechteckigen Bau im Hintergrund leicht links von der Bildmitte mit flachem Walmdach. Links davor ist der Triumphbogen zu erkennen. Rechts erkennt man die Kuppel der Kirche und des zugehörigen Klosters von San Gallo, die 1529 bereits zerstört wurde.
Der vorliegende, farbige Stahlstich ist nicht signiert.
