Zu sehen ist eine Stadtteilansicht von Halle mit einem Teil der Moritzburg auf der linken Seite (Kapelle und Nordturm). Auf der rechten Seite erstreckt sich oberhalb der Stadtbefestigungsmauer das Logenhaus der Freimaurerloge "Zu den drei Degen" (ehemals Tschernyschewski-Haus, heute Sitz der Leopoldina).
