Description

Eredetileg a Városligetben állt Boldogfai Farkas Sándor alkotása, 1953-tól. Majd a liget rendezésekor, 1966-ban, a Margitszigeti Művészsétányra helyezték át. 160 cm kő talapzaton, 95 cm kő mellszobor. A talapzaton külön tábla helyezkedett el, melyen a felirat:'ERKEL', alatta babérágak között lant volt látható. (Ma már ez a tábla nincs meg)

A mellszobor 1977-ben eltűnt, 1998-ban pótolták.
