Description

Kleinwüchsige gehörten häufig als Sklaven und Diener zum Hausstand hochrangiger Familien. Aufgrund ihrer körperlichen Unzulänglichkeiten waren sie Spott ausgesetzt, konnten aber auch gerade aufgrund ihres ungewöhnlichen Aussehens zu Ansehen gelangen. (AVS)
