Description

Besonders repräsentative Damaste ließ Prof. Karl Gotthelf Krumbholz fotografieren. Er nutzte sie vermutlich als Anschauungsmaterial für seine Musterzeichnerschüler. Die Tücher selbst sind wohl nicht mehr erhalten.
Das Foto zeigt ein Dekorationsschema mit zentralem Ornament sowie üppigen Bordüren, bestehend aus einem floral geschmückten Rahmen und kleineren Medaillons. Zentrales Ornament in der Bildmitte ist hier das Napoleonische Wappen.
