Az első címlap szövege: "ORBÁN / PÁUL ORBÁN / LEDER / BUCH / 1855" A második címlapé: "Mindennemű dalok mellyeket Orbán Pál számára összeszedett és leírt. B. F. És Orbán Pál Győr Szigetben 1856" A B. F. monogram a később szereplő Bétay F. névre utal. Az eredeti könyv 217 oldalas és döntően két kéztől származik.
