Description

Háromalakos mitológiai jelenet látható a képen. Háttérben hegy előtt tornyos, zászlós épület és tó látható. A tóparton a tóban állva, szőlőfürt öltözetben és fejdísszel férfialak Bacchus látható. A parton fa mellett, Félmeztelen nőalak Arianna ül lepellel az ölében. Közöttük repülő allegórikus alak látszik. Jobb oldalon drapéria látszik.
Tintoretto eredeti nevén Jacopo Robusti (1519-1594) 1576-ban készült festményének metszett és kibővített változata. Az eredeti festmény a velencei Dozse Palotában van elhelyezve.
A metszet a 19. közepén végén készülhetett. Felirata olasz nyelven: Lo Spozalizio di Arianna e Bacco. Nell’Anticollegio del Veneto Palazzo Ducale / Fran(ces)co del Pedro incise
