Description

A fotón egy szaloncukor látható a két világháború közötti évekből.
A szaloncukor a századfordulón jött divatba. a múltszázad reformkorától - francia mintára meghonosodó - divatos fogadószobában: a "szalon"-ban felállított karácsonyfa különlegesen csomagolt édességét nevezték így. A jókai használatában még "szalonczukkedli" (salonzuckerl - német) hazánkban maradt meg egyedül jellegzetes karácsonyi csemegének. Az első időkben még kézzel készítették, majd Stühmer Frigyes cukrász és csokoládégyáros kezdte el ipari módszerekkel gyártani.
További megnevezés: A magyar cukrászipar története című állandó kiállítás 1982-1996.
