Description

Winkle Nándor (1834-1900) pesti üveges-, és képkeret kereskedő (Budapest Váci utca alapítva 1861-ben) festett portréja. Olajvászon, aranyozott díszített képkeret. Ovális formátumú mellképportré. 1880-as években készült. A Winkle Nándor céget 1861-ben alapította meg Pesten a belvárosban. 1900-ban bekövetkezett halála után fia ifj. Winkle Nándor folytatta híres üzletét, amely ekkor már művészi metszeteket is árult. A cég 1931-ben ünnepelte a 70 éves évfordulóját. A nagy gazdasági világválság tette tönkre a céget.
