Description

Ein besonderer Glücksfall war 1991 der Fund einer trächtigen Stute von Propalaeotherium voigti (Matthes 1977), bei dem neben den Weichteilen (durch Bakterien nachgezeichnete Haut- und Fellreste) auch der Darminhalt und, nach neueren Untersuchungen durch Franzen (2006), selbst die Plazenta in Form eines Bakterienrasens erhalten sind.
